Meet Toxii, the Tattooed Icon Who Transformed Her Entire Body

One of the most obnoxious phrases in the English language is “it’s a whole new me!” The line makes it sound like somebody embarked on a major, life-changing transformation. In reality, though, most people just get a nice haircut, throw on a cute dress, and pretend that their quick little glow-up has made them into someone else entirely.

However, Toxii may be one of the few people in the entire world who can make the claim about becoming a new person. That’s because she went far beyond simply getting tattoos all over her body. She also got extensive body mods that changed the shape of her body, including entirely removing her nose.

Who is this woman? Why did she change her body like this, and what did she look like before? Keep reading to discover everything you need to know about Toxii, one of the world’s strangest-looking women!

Body mods: beyond the ink

The first thing you are likely to notice about Toxii is that she doesn’t look entirely human. For one thing, she has gotten enough ink to transform most of her body into a gray shade that isn’t exactly found in nature. Honestly, she looks more like a fantasy creature one might encounter in Dungeons & Dragons than a human being.

The reason she looks this way is simple: in addition to her extensive ink, Toxii has also received the kinds of body mods that most people would be too scared to ever consider. For example, she has horn implants on her forehead that give her a vaguely demonic appearance. And she has had her nose removed, making the center of her face a constant center of attention.

It’s fair to say that Toxii would have made an impression on the world no matter what. However, part of what makes her appearance so shocking is that she looked completely different just a few years ago!

Shocking before and after photo

Toxii has quite the following on social media, and it’s not hard to see why. Instagram, for example, is a platform designed for people to show off photos of themselves and their lives. Almost nobody has wilder pictures or a wilder life than Toxii, so she understandably has a legion of loyal followers on Instagram.

Those followers got quite a shock when Toxii published a before and after photo of her body modification journey. The “before” photo was from 2019, and the most striking thing about the image is that she seemingly has no tats or body mods. She also has very feminine makeup and blonde hair. Fast forward to the present-day photo and you can see that she really has transformed her life, becoming something unrecognizable but awesome.

The tattoo legend’s surprising motivation

Whether they love or hate Toxii’s tattoos and body mods, everyone has the same question when they see her for the first time: “why did you do that?” Most people never get a single tattoo or major body mod (certainly not one like removing a nose!). So when seeing someone who so completely transformed themselves, it’s understandable to wonder why they did so.

Interestingly, Toxii once explained her motivation in an interview with the Mirror. “I like to be imperfect,” she said, “and I think that imperfections make you unique.” Now, Toxii is a woman of few words, but she makes a good point here: many who criticize her for her appearance think that she has somehow ruined herself…that she was perfect and destroyed that perfection for no reason.

But Toxii thinks that perfection is too mainstream and that it’s actually our imperfections that make us stand out. With this in mind, she set out to become the most perfectly imperfect version of herself, and the world simply wasn’t ready for the sight of her transformation.

Keeping body parts in jars

Aside from her generally demonic appearance, the thing about Toxii that most people fixate on first is that she had her nose and other parts of her body removed. These are mods that go well beyond simple piercings and instead alter the fundamental shape and appearance of her body. And when you discover someone has had their nose removed, you probably have a simple question: what did she do with it?

Fair warning: her answer may shock you. When Toxii was interviewed by street artist Devon Rodriguez recently, he asked whether or not she kept the nose. She responded that she kept the nose like she kept all of the other body parts she had removed: in a jar.

Just when you think Toxii has run out of ways to surprise you, she suddenly tells you that she has a home full of her own body parts in little jars. Our first thought was that this gal is crazy…our second though was that we need to go follow this crazy lady on Instagram!
