You know that phrase about how some people have fame thrust upon them? That’s the case with Elin Nordegren, best known as Tiger Woods’ former wife. The golf celebrity had multiple affairs while he was married, and the subsequent cheating scandal rocked the sports world. It also transformed Nordegren into a celebrity in the worst possible way, with breathless headlines painting her as a victim of her powerful husband’s infidelity.
We decided to check back in on Elin Noredegren and were stunned to discover she is looking happier, healthier, and (yes, Virginia) hotter than ever before. What does this golf-time goddess look like these days, and how has she transformed her appearance over time? Keep reading to find out!
Fame makes her nervous
These days, many cynical fans think the worst about those who marry celebrities. For example, it was always a given that whoever married Tiger Woods would become a big name in their own right. This caused some to think that Elin Nordegraf was a clout-chasing fame-seeker hoping her husband’s big name would open doors for her.
However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Nordegraf never really tried to embrace fame…in fact, most had never heard of her before Tiger Woods’ affairs were exposed. She rarely made splashy appearances with her husband, and when she did (like in this 2006 photo showing her attending a sports gala) event, she usually looked painfully nervous at having the eyes of the world on her!
Fading into the background of her marriage
Part of the reason that gala photo up there stands out is that Elin Nordegren didn’t dress up in fancy clothing for very many occasions. That doesn’t mean she never went out with Tiger Woods, of course, but that she didn’t try to stand out like most women in her position would. For example, in the above photo, she dressed very simply and wore minimal makeup to dinner with Woods before they got married.
This image effectively tells a story: Nordegren knew that she had married a major celebrity, and she never made any attempt to steal (or even borrow) his fame. She effectively faded into the background of her own marriage and dedicated her life to standing by her man and letting him shine at every opportunity.
That’s part of what made their divorce so sad, of course: Nordegren was forced to step outside of her comfort zone and be a celeb in her own right. Fortunately, it didn’t take her long to get her groovy back in the most stylish possible way!
A derby darling
Almost immediately before she and Tiger Woods’ marriage imploded, Elin Nordegren was looking downright radiant. By this point, she was a mother, and she had a downright maternal glow whenever she brought her son to events, with or without Woods. After her husband’s affairs became public knowledge, Noregren made far fewer public appearances, opting to embrace the privacy that had already characterized most of her marriage.
In the subsequent years, sightings of Nordegren were relatively rare, and they usually occurred in mundane settings such as the LAX airport. That changed in 2016, though, when she made an appearance at the Kentucky Derby. And she looked dazzling in a pastel yellow dress, white fascinator hat, and tasteful veil. She topped the whole look off with some gold heels, and she understandably turned heads wherever she walked!
A new life amid the pandemic
Most of us had a pretty harrowing 2020…after all, this was the year of the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing people to hide inside their homes in fear of contracting something potentially fatal. However, Elin Nordegren isn’t most people, and her pandemic year was pretty awesome because she had already begun a new life, moving on from her previous marriage in the flashiest possible way.
By now, Norgedren had settled down with a new partner, Jordan Cameron, whom she began dating in 2019. The two had also recently welcomed their first child together, cementing them as a real family. On top of this, Nordegren looks stunning in every pandemic photo. This goes beyond great hair and makeup…simply put, the beauty you see on her face in these photos can only come from pure happiness!
That happiness is on full display in recent pictures as well. In November 2024, Elin Nordegren was sighted on the golf course, but she wasn’t there to see her ex-husband play. Instead, their son was teeing up, and she was there to support him as a proud mama bear. She was also a low-key looker: despite wearing modest black clothing and sunglasses, she looked healthy and happy. She was also raising six children with Jordan Cameron by this time, and judging from her happy looks, life as a busy mother really agrees with her.
