Did you watch Three’s Company growing up? The show was downright hypnotic at times, and it quickly became must-see TV. That’s partially due to the fun writing and immersive stories, of course. But it’s mostly due to the show’s stacked cast of amazing actors.
Arguably, few of them made as much impact as Joyce DeWitt. The success of the little sitcom that could make her into a household name, and everyone expected her to become a breakout Hollywood star. Surprisingly, though, she has kept a very low profile relative to her earlier success. However, she popped back up recently at a reunion for a different show altogether, and she blew everyone’s minds with the fact that she’s still gorgeous!
Becoming a national icon
Three’s Company hit the airwaves decades before the arrival of online entertainment platforms like YouTube and TikTok. Back in 1977, television was arguably the dominant form of entertainment in the entire world. The show quickly became popular, transforming its entire cast into major stars. Chief among them was Joyce DeWitt, whose Janet Wood character was the heart and soul of Three’s Company.
She played a florist who shared a small apartment with two other ladies. When one of them moves out, she gets a new roommate: a man played by John Ritter! DeWitt didn’t star in the show, but she was a fan. Last month, she attended the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health’s “Evening from the Heart” gala in Los Angeles, an event featuring a Wings reunion. While it was great to see members of the Wings cast, Three’s Company fans understandably focused on DeWitt. Not only was it awesome to see her, but everyone agreed that, at 77, she still looked absolutely gorgeous!

As we said before, Joyce DeWitt has always been known for her beauty. That’s no slight against her acting abilities, of course, as she’s an amazing performer. But her gorgeous good looks transformed her into America’s new favorite girl next door in the late ‘70s thanks to Three’s Company. Needless to say, plenty of men (and quite a few women) were jealous of John Ritter’s character, wishing they could have someone as gorgeous as DeWitt for a roommate. Therefore, it was a pleasant surprise when the elderly DeWitt appeared at the Wings reunion because it left fans collectively saying the same thing: she’s still got it!
Some fans commented on her hair, noting that she let it go fully gray rather than embracing the Hollywood tradition of dyeing it a darker color. The general consensus was that the look of authenticity really suited the veteran performer. Others noted that her face still looked youthful and exuberant, and they wished they could know her skin regimen. This echoes fan comments from an earlier appearance last year, one that left everyone bowled over by just how gorgeous this television icon still is.

That’s great news for any fan of Three’s Company in general or Joyce DeWitt in particular. She’s one of TV’s most talented actors, and she helped shape the entire entertainment landscape nearly half a century ago. Now, she continues to share her talents with the world. And based on her most recent appearances, it’s fair to say she looks great while she’s doing it!
